The event for students is organised by VIA University College and supported by IWA, DANVA and other Danish stakeholders in the water sector.
Virtul World Water Camp is an online event and will start in February and culminate in May when IWA is hosting a virtual World Water Congress.
The target group is students currently enrolled in an educational programme related to water management and/or climate change adaption at bachelor or master level. Students from all over the world are encouraged to apply for participation.
The main purpose is to give students technical knowledge in the themes:
The challenges in each theme will be addressed from different perspectives (utilities, industry, authorities and academia).
The participants will also build an international network with other students interested in future water and be an active part of IWA’s virtual congress in May.
From the middle of February the camp will offer weekly live classroom session with both lectures, virtuel field visits and break-out rooms for discussions of wicked problems etc.
The cost for partipation is 150 Euro and will also include participation in DWF annual meeting in addition to the camp and IWA’s virtual congress. Registration must be accomplished no later than 1 February 2021 here.
