Climate Adaptation, Taasinge Plads, Copenhagen

Denmark is combining world-leading, and transsectorial water research, good governance, some of the strongest technologies for water treatment with solutions for biogas, energy and resource recovery.

Wastewater treatment plants of the future are currently being built, representing the transition to water resource recovery facilities, in fact producing energy and recovering phosphorous.

  • Blue and green solutions for a liveable city
  • Efficient water and wastewater solutions
  • Implemented climate change solutions
  • Drinking groundwater directly from the tap
  • Trans-sectorial research, innovation and practice
